Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

hello

i have been looking for long time how to convert solar heat energy to electricity and found some intresting ideas!

first i was looking how big corporation do it and found that there is something wrong with explanation of the system , for example PS20 Solar Power Plant in spain , wiki says that its convert concentrated solar heat to make steam and power the steam turbine ... but when i look at pictures of this plant i see non of contenser or steam exoust , clouds or other indication off steam !! isnt it streange? steam plant with no steam?? well 20MW turbine sould produce some nice clouds!! that gets me thinking that it needs some further investigation.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:PS20andPS10.jpg

and so there is some new technology that converts heat directly to elecrticity its called AMTEC or alkali metal thermoelectric converter
that uses alkali metals compounds also known as salts and works besicaly by heating the salt to ionization temperature (energy) so salt give off electron and when cooled it takes electron so efficiency of the process is 31% but can rise to 40% and i have to say its alot!!

what you guys think about it maybe we sould give it a try !! there are salts that gives off two electrons when ionized !!!! will it double the efficiency ??

cheers from poland

hi Wojsciech, greetings from England

interesting idea - and always good to find people with new concepts, rather than just copying the 'fashionable' energy gurus!

i don't know much about this area (i have some limited experience of OU - with possible thermoelectric activity - in simple DIY voltage cells)

do you know of any alkali metals which have ionisation temperatures which might match a 'domestic' solar setup?

at the moment, i don't see why having two available electrons would be more efficient - but it should certainly be capable of producing a stronger reaction, and hence a more powerful o/p

do you have any links for background info you can recommend?

thanks
np
