Need Help The Locking Force Of a Spinning Magnet

Ive designed some great magnet arrays, my main problem is attaching the magnets to a motor

Instead of locking onto the 2nd magnet, the magnet spins over the magnet, achieving no magnetism ...

To troubleshoot, I decided to use two circles with a single magnet attached to a corner of each circle

One magnets attached to a fan motor, the other is stationary, using the magnetic pull of the 1st magnet to rotate it ...

Even with the magnets almost touching each other, at high speeds, the magnet attached to the motor simply spins over the stationary magnet, without moving the stationary magnet

Basically the magnet spins too fast to attract the stationary magnet ...


Ive tried both poles of the magnet, both give the same no magnetism ...

Basically how do i make both magnets spin at high speeds?

At low speeds the two circles, synch up & spin fine, as soon as i add higher speed, it just overshoots

Do I need a stronger magnet? Bigger magnet etc?

It isnt the distance, as even when the magnets are almost touching each other, at high speeds the magnet attached to the motor still overshoots the magnet


Both magnets are the same strength, n40, ive tried both circle & square magnets

Anyone know how to keep two spinning magnets synchronised to each other?

Or basically how much gauss or force do I need to keep two magnets in synch at a certain speed?

If there are other variables to keep two magnets spinning in synch, pls let me know ...
