Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Stefan wanted that I have all these massive data to get it back online
even being as ill as Stefan is, he transferred all databases and folders
that without his help, this Forum Archives would have never been published here

So now we have two working buoyancy drives to consider.... same principle of operation, or different? Are we violating Conservation of Miracles, here, or what?

There are four distinct possibilities.

1) Both drives work. Well then, whoever disconnects from the Grid and runs his home on the output energy of their drive, first, wins the Nobel Prize.
2) The Zed drive works, but the Farmer drive doesn't.  Sour grapes, pot kettle black, from where I sit the "evidence" is better for Farmer: he's got a pretty female journalist all giggly and excited, and his explanations are so simple even a Koala can understand (if not believe) them.
3) The Farmer drive works, but the Zed drive doesn't.  I don't think anyone is seriously considering _this_ alternative, are they?
4) Neither the Farmer drive nor the Zed drive works as claimed.  This alternative doesn't violate any conservation laws (particularly Conservation of Truth) and is consistent with all real data received so far.

Take your pick... support your position with data... if you can find any.

The following scenario could make sense:

May be the pressurised container (reservoir) for the air inflating the bladder in the weight (in order to make the weight more buoyant) is pressurised by other means like heat from solar collectors. So, the energy comes in fact from the sun.

The air in the bladder will be cooled down when the weight descends into the deep hole in the ground and its volume will shrink (lowering the pressure, adding weight). In the pressurised container which could stand in the hot sun light above ground the air will be heated up again and expands (raising the pressure, helping to inflate the bladder). So, it would be in fact a heat engine.

The cooling and heating effect could be rather small, therefore the inventor also has to use part of the energy imparted by the descending weight to drive an air pump. But the heating and cooling could lift the system over the threshold of the losses. The net energy gain is probably very little and proportional (<1) to the energy from the heating and cooling.

In laymen's terms one could then call this a free energy device.

This is of course pure speculation because we have practically no information about this machine.

Greetings, Conrad
