Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Anyway, what PWM controller do you like better than the cheap and ubiquitous TL494?

I prefer the SG3525 or SG3524.  Currently using the SG3524 with great results.  Also using high amperage IRFB3077 MOSFETs with zero issues.

Thank you verpies for the info on the lossless clamps circuit.  I think my next version will be of this variety using thin wire for the optional winding.

If anyone cares, I'm working on a detailed build of the original Dally device--just acquired all the needed tools to spin off Tesla secondary coils with
ease, so I should be able to create many versions of this coil arrangement, then test.  The Dally coil is considerably different from the Ruslan
architecture in that it uses a step-down instead of a step-up coil winding pattern.  I'm hoping this alleviates the "hot coil syndrome" I have run
into as have others.  So the toroid transformer now has over 100 turns on its secondary instead of only 3.  Where this really gets tricky is this
high voltage, low amperage output is very sensitive to a short-circuit condition, so optimal resonance is a must unless your PWM circuit is very
robust and tolerant.  Otherwise it blows components.  I'll keep you all posted on my progress as I get to important milestones.

Dog1 what a nice idea about the thinner wire! Good luck on your Dally setup.

What a pity that Verpies lose-less clamp needs drivers with "enable" input.
Verpies is it any other way to use this kind of clamp with an ir2110 or anyother commercial driver with no "Enable" input?

Sergei modulates both cycles (pos&neg) by his hf tesla secondary.
Does anyone know if Sergei has a selfrunner? Did he state or show something about that?

In that mater you may find useful this old post of Verpies:

Jeg

Thanks SkyWatcher i'll take a look.

In addition, does anybody know how this diode will impact on output? (see red cycle in Sergey's drawing). It is at his Tesla coil primary..

From the looks of it yes.

BTW Jeg, a simple AND gate adds an enable input.
