great initiative, but as T-1000 already mentioned, there is a lot of confusion and misunderstanding going on because nobody really knows
what the correct MO (modus operandi), diagram, tuning sequence, etc. is.
So putting some highlights, crucial results and working methods in your document is fine, but we only know if it is of value if it produces the wanted effects.

Further more, most of us are doing this out of interest or motivation, but often that interest shifts to other projects leaving this thread dormant for weeks / months
 
Hopefully your  QA (quality assurance) management skills are able to put some order into this chaos, i will try to contribute as before as presently i am motivated to
get this nano-pulse hybrid going.

I made these changes and observations:

# rewound the grenade layers 3,4 and 5,6 to be of opposite direction of layers 1,2 (again).
# Disconnected the 28 turn yoke secondary from the grenade (left it open)
# connected the 6th layer return wire of the grenade to ground.

The results are similar as earlier reported.

Shifting the coax cable coil away from the inductor/grenade has i big influence on the output of both the inductor and grenade.
Probably the Q of the inductor suffers greatly from this tightly coupled coax coil.


I will rewind the inductor / grenade so that the coax coil is between the exposed layers 1,2 of the grenade and the inductor leaving the Q of the inductor
unchanged hopefully.

Another change is the adding of this free running parallel LC coil, which should be first on the former (i think) and needs a parallel resonance frequency
of 15.8KHz (i think), same as the inductor series LC resonance via the push-pull driver.

I think this was a coil wound with the same wire as a Tesla coil secondary (I seem to remember that) 26 awg or so, I would think the resonant point would be in the 1.5 to 1.8Mhz area, a harmonic of the 15Khz LC tank. In any case the wire gauge would need to be smaller since the 12 or 14 awg wire for the grenade is very long and folded back on itself a few times, I would think you would want a single layer correct? Potentially spanning the entire length of the grenade 12 or 14gauge coil.

Hi Starcruiser,

yes, a 300 turn or so single layer Tesla secondary like coil.
I have one which selfresonates (in a kacher setup) at 1MHz, but i just tested it with a 47nF capacitor parallel, then this LC resonates at 12.8Khz.

So i will use a similar coil underneath the grenade spanning the whole length and set the resonance to the same 15.8KHz (or so) my pushpull is putting out
to excite the series LC inductor/wima caps.

I have this big handicap the resistance of the circuit 28 winding It has a sizable advantage on power consumption from the power supply
