So this must be the point at which he was taking this stroboscope green trace from, see red circle below.

I puzzled what is wrong ?!
look like from start to finish is seen that,taking this stroboscope green a deliberate misdirection!
closes the circuit with an oscilloscope probe and then he comes every second pulse :DD
- and at the end it is because normally removed from terminal jumper
all these films have a second background (you have to take on a patch to fix backwards)
as I find the time and the desire to propel the drama.

If you change from you small ferite ring ends of primary or secondary windings, then you can get on output pulse with different duration. And then your setup be like dally and Ruslan and then you can easyly get pulse duration 200 ns.

where you asked me also to swap the nano-pulser output toroid secondary connections.

Indeed the pulse went from a 1KV / 15ns pulse to a 330V / 50ns pulse then, see the video, so a third amplitude at 3 times the width.

I can try that again with my present setup, however i blew up the IGBT yesterday again, so have to repair it first.

Nano-Pulser repaired, got an IRFP460 in now, and swapped the little toroid secondary wires.
At 250V on the drain and at 17KHz repetition frequency over a fixed 50 Ohm resistor i now got this (nano)-pulse (309V @ 117ns):

I will do some testing with it with the shorted coax.....

Ruslan in one video saying, that need ajust capasitor (chose it capasistance or in parralel add many capasitors) who conected to diode KD203A and koaxial cabel and other end to secondary of ferite ring. Chosing diferent of it capasistance you may get differen duration of pulse. Ruslan recomendate use for ferite ring white ferite ring or yellow with white.
That information maybe little helps.

Thanks, but this nano-pulse width variable adds another one to the already many variables we have in this setup, making it almost impossible to get it right.
