  What do you think about this new PWM. It's cheap, and has up to 100% duty cycle controls, not just the 47% duty cycle.
It also comes with both duty cycle as well as the frequency trim pots. So, unlike the one that you tried out previously (now only $5), this new one (for $7, with free shipping) doesn't need to have the addition of the duty cycle controller pot.
So, the one (below) comes ready to use.

  Thanks for finding that same board at 1/2 the amazon.com price. I did check ebay, but did not find it at that low a price. Thanks, again.
  So, it seams like a waist of time, now, to build these types of TL494 boards up oneself. As just the cost of buying the component parts at retail prices is higher than these ready made boards. Not to mention the time that it takes to build it, and get it working properly, with no glitches. I'm not a good example, as it takes me way too long to get it working right. Although I think that I've got it working properly now, at least the TL494 circuit, and the fet drivers.
 
  There are lots of new high tech circuit boards coming out lately, cheaper than ones that can be build by oneself.
Such as the step up or down DC to DC converters (92% efficiency). And the fast switching rectifiers boards, or the 110/220 to 24v PSU, etz. Ideally to be used instead of our home made contraptions.

   I've also been looking for a ready made TL494 board with fet drivers installed, as well. Maybe someone else has better luck at finding something like that.

    I can imagine that soon we'll be able to buy a self runner from China, or somewhere else. At a lower cost than what we can build ourselves.
  These self running (from the surrounding ambient) type of technologies can't be held off by the oil and power companies, for much longer.
   Not to mention what is being currently used in the secret underground bases, deep space power units for satelites, or for the already built bases on other planets. As most everything we hear from the NASA are nothing but lies.
 
   Think about how the Pyramids and underground cities and their secret underground passage ways were lit up, with no carbon deposits from burning torches or fires to be found, anywhere. And the huge 100 ton rocks that were perfectly cut, transported, and set up in most all of the pyramid temple complexes world wide. Such things can't be done even today.
   
   Possibly this type of newer nano technology came from ETs, as well. Some of them may have millions of years advantage over our current available technologies. So, we have a lot to learn from them, if we just stop trying to shoot or zap them down with Tesla's EM beam weapons, at first site.
   Even though we have progressed more in the last 100 years, than in all the previous ages combined. But, we still have a long ways to go to catch up with the thousands of types of space ships and their types of alien technologies, that are currently flying in our skies around the planet, daily. Such as what is being shown in the link below, some of them even landing on our planet or in our seas.

Hi Nick,

yes looking great, especially for $3.71 with free shipping.

But it has the same functions as the one you have as the 100% duty cycle is only when using single ended operation (no push pull which we need to have).
In push pull mode (pin 13 select) this thing also goes to 47% duty cycle max.

The 5V output looks somewhat minimal, but with MOSFET drivers inbetween should be enough

Anyway, go for it, if you want.

  In the video and specs it shows it running well on 12v, also. So not so limited.
