  Funny thing, here I'm working on my rig, and it's running at around 15KHz, or so. And my daughter comes into the room and from across the room she says, oh,  that awful noise, again.  But, I hear nothing, even though I'm right next to it. Getting old, I guess.

I have ultrasonic dog/fox scarers in my garden and cannot hear them with my old git ears. However, it drives my son mad when he walks past them.

thanks for the video and translation, but the presented winding direction on the drawn diagram of his Grenade does not make sense.

It only makes sense when flipping over the coil but this should NOT be done, it should be looked at from ONE direction only.


When you do that (looking from ONE direction only), you will see that the L1 / L2 pair of coils do NOT change from CW to CCW, they stay CCW.

Same with the L3 / L4 coil pair, they stay CW.

The ONLY difference with the old style Ruslan Grenade is the last layer layer 6 which is reversed (CCW!!) from its coil pair partner L5 (CW), see
picture below.

So we have:
L1 CCW
L2 CCW
L3 CW
L4 CW
L5 CW
L6 CCW!!

Right?

Hi Itsu I don't see any where, where it gives the wire length or the turns per layer, in order find the wave length he is using.  I had a quick scan through a good many of the videos and one where he powers it up it had an annoying blink rate

Hi Itsu. That guy's explanation of his grenade winding direction was pretty poor,
but from what I could see in the video the only difference from Ruslan's way of doing it
is layer 6 is wound in the opposite direction to layer 5, rather than both layer 5 and 6 being
wound in the same direction.
