   Agreed. We also need to see what the effect it's doing at the output, as well as to see if the circuit allows for self running, or not. As Stalker is not using that more complicated circuit, presently. Maybe some one knows why he changed to the more basic circuit like his newer design, same as what I am using.

I double and tripple checked my circuit, but cannot find any deviation from the used Stalker diagram, so i am lost as to why my circuit does not behave like it apparently should be.
But i will leave it at this as not to further disturb this thread.

   Here's a video that is a couple of years old now, and has had nearly 7000 views, but may still be of interest, now.
  Specially for Itsu, if he hasn't seen it already.
  The best part is at the very end, concerning your current interest with the duty cycle controls and dead time.
  It you want to cut to the chase, just watch the last couple of minutes of the video.
  I had not seen this video before. Makes me wonder how many other videos like this I've not seen.

Well, there are 2 like i mentiond in a post to AG here:

Where do you see an inverted signal?    (2x inverting = non inverting).

So we effectively do not invert any signals, so no problem there.
My problem is that i (using the TC4093) cannot increase the duty cycle over the 44% supplied by the TL494 (only less), while others can (till 56% even) using the same circuit.
