Yes, indeed Grum. This 3-phase trafo is my opinion is likely a key component of Kapanadze's 'box' devices, given of course that what we are seeing is a genuine component of a genuine self running device.

   The Joule Thief thread is still available for anyone interested in continuing it. As that "shop" never closes.
   Just go to the home page and use the search bar on top, to type in Joule Thief, and you'll find there are 1177 pages available to read on the subject. It was started in 2008. There are also several other related threads, as well.
   That is where these types of discussions of that particular subject belong. Other wise it just another distraction on this thread.
   There is also a thread for Dr. Stiffler replications, as well as many other topics of interest. In case you don't know.
    My last comment on the subject of the Joule Thief, etz... is that that and similar circuits have never self run, by themselves, and that is what we here searching and working towards. Self running circuits. That is also why the thread was discontinued.
Or at least resting until further notice.

Look on Nelsons site you will find loads of his projects that do just that and none of them were on the jewel thief thread because they were not a jewel thief. and you contradict your self Nelson gave us what every one called a jewel thief at the time now your saying its not but some one else alters the circuit now your saying it is , a jewel thief does not have a tuning cap or an earth but has an LED this does not, so witch is it ? make up your mind
