So let's say                                   :      I use sinusoidal signal from 0 to100MHz and it will come at secondary winding  without distortion
but at it  also works with  square   :      I use  square    signal from  0 to100MHz and it will come at secondary winding  without distortion
That said should be understood that you do not need such bandwidth it is good to have from 0 to 35kHz.
- please note that it is good to have  microphone connected  say preamp and than, to oscilloscope to make sure that  Sub-audible  sound from the core is present if you do not hear  sound from 0 to 20kHz  out of the ferrite.


The advantage of nanosecond generator   is that created at the end HV / med V square/rectangular signal has two edges  the rise and the fall ( the AC components of  square impulse)
So you have two  points of stimulation in every   impulse instead of  sinusoidal that has two opposite. The up and the down of the period
Yes we can flip in rectifier or Gretz Bridge   the lower half and have them only on positive sides  however  it would not be  that rapid as  square/ rectangular one.

What is important to mention is THAT WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE COIL AT THE PICTURE THAN YOU SEE THIN LINE NEXT TO COIL DRAWING (look at picture below)
