A little break here so let me quickly follow-up.

Rather than me regurgitating a huge load of stuff for you, try this:

Log into any of the forums (sign up if you need to) and simply search
"Solarlab". It goes back quite a few years but there very few posts so
it shouldn't take you too long.

Of course if you follow the provided information you will need to brew
a few pots of coffee!

With respect to Longitudinal Waves you'll have to try an academic search
engine to acquire any real papers. Many are pay-wall but there are still
some good ones in the public domain. Also consider "Ultra-Wide-Band" as
much of the good information, for some reason, falls under that label.
Dr. Konstantine Meyl is a good start as well w.r.t. mathematical proof as is
the original Maxwell equations. Just do the math and it works out.

Let me add; it appears your "fascination," for lack of a better term, with
Russian Trolls and such does seem a bit bazaar to say the least; but I can
empathize knowing your background and your history in this OU game.

he has only published in a dubious organization magazine, "Society

language as to make his sentences devoid of any actual meaning.  His
technical paragraphs, if possible, are even more confusing.  The only
audience for this nonsense (in my humble opinion) are people who think
that the information in his book are gibberish to them only because
his thoughts are so advanced and therefore correct, and not that he
hired his nephew to do a half-assed translation.  This book is pure
gibberish.  I can not offer an opinion of his other translated works
or his original German works, but I would not be surprised if they
were gibberish too.

I would strongly recommend that you
look at a very well thought out discussion of "Scalar Waves", "What
are 'Scalar Waves' by Horst Eckardt.  It is short and concise, and
offers a conventional explanation for Meyl's toy, which Meyl believes
is a longitudinal wave/scalar wave transmitter, but  is really just a
capacitively coupled device that operates due to well understood and
accepted conventional principles:

The fact that Herr Meyl thinks he has derived the Grand Unified Theory
of Physics and totally disproved Einstein's Theories of Relativity
strike me as signs of psychological problems

He seems to use Vortex Field Theory to solve the Grand Unified Theory
(and everything else).  Are you aware that this was a theory put forth
by Rene Descartes in the 16th century, where he opposed the concept of
a vacuum.  It presupposed a Luminous Aether acting as the media
throughout all of space. It was a method the scientist back then were
using to explain the mechanical nature of gravity, before quantum
theory and relativity were known. It was in use until totally
discredited in the 19th century, along with the nonsense of Aether.  I
do not know why someone would be so strongly motivated to throw away
centuries of discovery and to scurry back to a discredited 400 year
idea?  Why not go further back and research "The Celestial Spheres"
developed by Plato, Aristotle and Ptolemy.  They were brilliant guys?

The bottom line is that all human being, even the greatest of us are
fallible, and the further back you go, the bigger the erroneous
concepts you will find, that have been discredited and discounted.  To
dig these fossils up, brush them off and tack on enough technobabble
to confuse everyone is either delusional or fraud to obtain money from
the legion of "true believers".

Wesley (in particular) - There are times when you have to discard your physics hat and dawn your
engineering hat. Do yourself this favour, it's minimal time and cost:

1. Build (or purchase) a device similar to Dr. Meyl's, for example:

2. Test the device. Also try driving the device with a good Pulse signal and driver FET.
Note: design a good broadband match considering the Fourier of the pulse.
RF CAE will be of great help here - test the match insitu and de-embed as required.

3. Do the math as a proof. Again, CAE - Matlab, Mathcad, etc. and analyize it.

4. Model the physical device in CAE; simulate and optimize (may be difficult and time
consuming - many hours or days of CPU time). Using specialized software packages
will be well worth the effort and cost (Ansys, NI Microwave Office, CST, ADS, etc.).
Most of these packages now have Cloud Based, pay-as-you-go access.

5. "Official Science:" Since you love quoting Wikipedia - here is the Bumblebee argument:
