Quite opposite. Why do you think ferrite would forbid tapping energy from ether ?

IMO aether does not exist and it is illogical to obtain something from nothing without invoking theism.

hopefully we have given a better design, like a ready to go lego blocks around us, so we should not bother about tapping nuclear enrgy or ether/vacuum energy directly

Well, what I can say then ?

There is not much more to say.  A discussion about this has already happened at the turn of the 19th century and later on this forum.  The final  conclusion was that aether does not exist.  Here is a quote:

"In the 19^th century most scientists believed that space was filled with a magical substance called the Luminiferous Aether through which light and lightning propagated.  It is quite probable that Tesla believed it, too.
Then Michelson and Morley came along and did their famous experiment to measure Earth's motion through that Aether and found no indication of it.  Others have calculated that it must possess contradictory properties such as that it must be a fluid in order to fill space, but one that was millions of times more rigid than steel in order to support the high frequencies of light waves. Aether also had to be massless and without viscosity, otherwise it would visibly affect the orbits of planets, additionally it appeared that it had to be completely transparent, non-dispersive, incompressible, and continuous at a very small scale.  Eventually the whole idea of Aether was scrapped as unnecessary.

I strongly disbelieve in energy from nothing. Vacuum is nothing by definition.
IMO opinion space is just a geometrical reference system and has no other properties than directions and distances.

However most vacuum is not complete. There are particles such as electrons, photons and neutrinos (mostly from the sun) traveling through it.
It is possible to convert them into electric energy (e.g. with an antenna or with a photovoltaic cell).

I think we should keep trying to convert matter or even the neutrino flux into usable energy.

I think it is futile to try to convert nothing into something (vacuum into energy) - some people wrongly think that this is the only path to 'free energy".

I think that energy from matter is more probable than energy from vacuum or plain nothing. That view will change if I see empirical evidence that shows vacuum of space to be something more than just a geometrical reference system. e.g. that it is endowed with certain properties that can be measured and eventually manipulated and used to our advantage.

As of now, I think it is more probable to obtain energy from air than from vacuum.  After all, air is matter.

The magnet did work when it was moving towards the fridge.  It does not do any work when it is not moving for years, anymore then a rock that has been laying on the ground for years.

No, but in this file only possible schematic of Akula.
In Dally divice is 10-1 kiloherc from Tl generator and 1-100 kiloherc from nanosecond pulses 700-1000 volts generator. Nanosecond pulses have leng 1-2 nanosecond probarly. I think is about 1-10 kiloherc of this pulses. So duty cycle is very small. Dit Itsu try put pulses of 1-2 nanocecond with voltage 1000-700 volts and with frenquency 1-10 kiloherc?
And how write dally, for ajust his divice (after rewind coils he ajust it) need changing frenquency and duty cycle on his TL generator, so not need ajust nanosecond pulses frenquency and duty cycle.
