   That was what I was discussing with Geo. As he thinks that he has a DC output from his new Kacher circuit. But, is it really DC? I asked him to show that DC signal on his scope. He never did.
   The ferrite bar intensifies the HV going through it, also, and if I remember right, it raises the Kacher output frequency a bit as well.

Indeed Hoppy,  i do think the same.

Well i'd tried a lot of things,...... but to make the HF/HV kacher wave (even the pulsed version) unipolair is not so easy.
The Antenna is acting as a capacitor and won t let some diodes f.i. eliminate the half wave.

So here some practical advise or options would be welcome to give it a try to.

Have you tried increasing the power of the pulsed wave by using a higher rail voltage on the Kacher circuit? From memory, the Daly circuit showed a 150V rail.

Yes,

Tried the 150V rail supply not only kacher configuration,  also PLL half bridge and single MOSFET SSTC .
Puls package in all configs.
Even had some days feeling a bit heated up also

The only thing to observe is the transforming of the sinewave from antenna into grenade.....( where also resoance frequenties passed the agenda)

1- Placing fast diodes (UF5408) before ferrite/ and after / at end of antenna.
2- Diodes in combination with isolation cap between ferrite and antenna
3- SG w/ wo diode rectifying from antenna to GROUND

My PC screen flips as all WIFI systems due to the EMP pulses...  but no after stroke as T1000 of ionised air etc.
I guess  dV/dt  isn't fast enough yet to get the "stroke".....  and not only the voltage level is a mayor parameter.

Also here,..  as a observation from the Ruslan/ Akula devices,...  the Kacher  ( streamer) level isn't the most important item...
There must be some kind of "absorbing "factor from the grenade which katalysis this charging process..

Could be the "stroke"positioning... as you also mentioned.

   Could be the right type and size of the earth ground line, also.
