The price of this 35 cents apiece in DIP housing:

Next time you look for TTL HC CHIPS PUT THE FULL PART NUMBER IN OR YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF
it's SN74HC132N  (some use H no idea) /14 ect any way you can do it with out the 14 if you were clever and reduce your chip count
be efficient !

Yeah you have to play with the circuits to learn parts are -putting them to gether can make you think

Just use the one T1000 posted seversl times.
But when you have some time....i would say ..
Just wait when Nick and Itsu have completed there build... it will be very detailed i know for sure.
You would help Nick also a lot using the same circuit so you can compare results.

If your going to make that one (It uses too many components and error corrections )
Any way why don't you use the PCB layout I pasted it's much simpler!
I can send you the soft ware layout file if your interested.
