Does the florescent bulb stays on when you switch off power?  If it does, two things need to be checked:
1) The frequency. Is there any radio station around running on that frequency or its harmonics?
2) The NMR side effect. Beta/Gamma emissions need to be checked for presence by radiation meter.

In overall, nice progress! :) Also Arduino have to be inside metal box which is grounded to be safe on not ruining microcontroller near Tesla coil.

2 things : first:  The florescent bulb laying there is staying on with nothing triggering the nano second pulse circuit, (once jump started with generator signal) it starts to feedback on itself. but the power supply is still on and set to 30volt and showing approx .07 amp when running. i just happened to notice that it can trigger itself much like an amplifier getting feedback thru a microphone except there is no microphone the wires are picking up the signals, if the light begins to dim or flicker, i sometimes just bump the input wire of the nanosecond circuit to ground. if i just gently lay the input wire over the grenade its stable. Only circuit needed is the nano second circuit and Drive fet nothing more. (arduino is basically off because its only driving the push pull and the yoke power supply is disconnected right now)

2nd thing: The ardruino seems to work fine and is in a plastic box only 2 feet from the topload as long as i keep it isolated from my computer. but it only drives the push pull and no power to the push pull transformer is even needed for the self triggering of the katcher mentioned above. i am going to try to measure the self triggering frequency i have only analog scope and cant directly connect due to HV. I dont believe the arduino is needed for the self triggering thing,  because its running around the 20khz range and not even connected to the katcher circuit only the push pull.

So its just feedback i recon just interesting how it can trigger itself like that, at least i know its running at the frequecy it wants and not the one i pick.

Not a good idea for it to be running on random feedback as it will totally negate what your doing with the arduino controlled system. Sounds like you need to have a clean up of any long wires and make sure the fet gates are tied down properly and supply lines are well decoupled using plenty of caps and RF chokes.

I just got my arduino DDS working i somehow managed to blow up the LCD and had to salavage another.  But it works great i can tune from 100Khz to 30Mhz and step down increments  to 1 HZ for the katcher circuit. BUT im not going to actually use a kacher its going to be a Class E digital RF amp and should push about 30 Watts RMS at 24v using IRF640's @ 1Mhz. With modulation should hit 90 Watts Peak.


So next thing to start on is the push pull circuit which is also extremely accurate clock driven with pulse width etc down to 0.1% steps.
