In relation with the 28T, I also don't believe that it is necessary for the device to work. The system doesn't give a noticeable output by using the grenade alone, because the most of the output part is self cancelling due to the opposite last 4 layers coil. Ruslan did it this way as he said for to decrease the high voltage output to a lower one with higher current.

I agree that by the perfect sync  alone nothing will happen.  That is the difficulty with this replication. Many things have to be aligned first before the final countdown.  One of the greatest issues for me is the earth ground connection itself. Don Smith have said that the most of the people don't really understand the importance of the earth ground and how this connection contributes to the rest of the system, like the Bloch wall of a magnet does. Perhaps we make something wrong on our connections here.

   Jeg: What I said was, that without the "perfect match" and sync,  the rest won't matter. As it won't work right without the right sync. So, I believe that the right sync is most important, and the hardest part to obtain.   The ground line is not that big a deal, just buy the welding cable 37.5 to 40 meters long, and the right grounding rod. Then connect it up as is shown. Also try different connection points, to see what works best for your set up.
