What do you mean by "without RF'? In general it is a simple probe which consists of two caps two diodes and a resistance. You need a signal of some hundrents of mV on your antenna (depending on the forward voltage of your diodes)  and then yes you can detect if you have the right frequency for the right node/antinode place. Or at the opposite you can trace nodes/antinodes on your antenna by using the frequencies you are interested in.

I have watched the Andre Fabrice videos before and I didn't see anything in that demonstration
that looked like possible OU. It looked like just ordinary stuff which you can do with a HV AC to me.
