If you make just transformer it will end up using your battery energy on output only.
What everyone are after is extra process manifesting independent energy on output. The battery is used only to create that process.

One way to fix this is to move the output 90 degrees, so no matter how much voltage you impose, it will not affect the input.
You still have to match the impedances between the in series LC tank circuit and the output.
