In reviewing the discussion regarding the "Theory of the emergence of SE" or the "Gradient Coil (a.k.a. Grenade Coil)" presentation
by Stalker (can't remember which one, but that's unimportant) it appears the Gradient Coil is used since the windings tend to reduce
the magnetic field effects that would otherwise impede to some extent at least, the electric field (electron flow) effect on the gradient coil.

Apparently Stalker experimented with a simple coil and found the effect. He concluded that the Grenade/Gradient Coil physical shape is
just to provide more target area for the HV electrons.

Ammdendment: Pretty sure the observation above was from the "Theory of the emergence of SE Q&A" video. If you find that bit of
information please note it here. A lingering question - thought it might be a filter thing.

This maybe makes sense since a magnetic field would deflect the electron (electric) field to some extent. Definately worth further
investigation at any rate - when time permits.

   Yes, an interuptor wave form. Stalker can explain it better than any one.
   But replicating it is not easy.

Let me ask - is it the electronics logic part, the driver part, or the Tesla pri/sec coil part; or all three
that seems to be a problem or elusive?

You are right however - from what I know, these device will be hitting the market very soon! Maybe not
initially from China but that usually doesn't take long once it's reversed engineered.

  SL, my push pull works fine and has a strong wave form. My simple Kacher also works fine, and is tuned for best output. What does not work fine is the sync between them, and of course the lack of OU, or self running.But at times I'm very close to having it kick in and stay there. That's the main issue, I think.  You should watch my last video, on this device on YT, to best understand what I call the "Radio Moscow" signal sound. As without hearing it, I know that I'm not even close to having it on the money.

How are they syncronizing - the Katcher and the Push-Pull (yoke coil)? Are you depending on the Katcher for sync?

Don't recall the Katcher off hand but I think it's supposed to be self synchronizing.

Saw your video but it looked like a low frequency bleed-off => sync, then drop-out. Hard to tell from the video though.

Hey, cheat a bit - run a high R pot from the PP (couple of turns of wire) to the Katcher base - turn it down, till it kicks in?

Force it to sync, one way or the other! A little "Miller" feedback might go a long way - or burn the thing to the ground!

Fool with the frequencies. Get a dual channel Juntek JDS-2900 (internally synced Function Gen with int phase adj) and drive
the Katcher and PP.   

Actually, that's what I used (couple of JDS's) to get the first one to work (no logic circuits to fight with).
Used SiC FETs with proper TI Drivers however. A bit expensive but effective.
