Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Akula explanation translated by wesley... (maybe already posted, I just got back, and see this is the topic here)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuoISZAlFAc

thanx to wesley for translation :)

now to re-watch; maybe the spark gap here, resembles the spark gap; err avalanche transistor; such that the cap for 150V isn't really kept full, but rather, dally's (avalanche transistor)

But then is it that there was cobalt in the russian ferrite cores?  was there cobalt in the green transformer dally was using?  (how was this wound, was it actually like an abha coil encased in ferrite?  that would make the 7:30 ratio or whatever it was more tightly bound than winding the 6 turns around a toroid that size....  (something like http://youtu.be/HN_MAcGaDig?t=48s or https://www.facebook.com/r3x3d/posts/628018793886216

with an air core, these do work as joule thieves better than solenoids wound to the same inductance.... (I think, still don't have a good comparison, so it's just theory, and if matched, they should behave the same, right?)

*rambles on*
I also wound a super tiny coil the same way, but it only worked if well aligned, being so small it lost it's reference of the open center, which disables it from working.  tiny as in less than 1cm in diamter with like 12" of wire in 1/4" diamter loops; so about 12 turns if you leave leads at the end...

If anybody thinks that Akula used somne kind of a trick - in his demo video he flicked the switch on the meter. So no power in the house.

NickZ

There is still the possibility of Akula using a battery inside the house connected to induction heater type oscillators, to give power to the outside contraption, via a hair thin wire, as Igor Moroz has shown possible.  But, that idea seams to me to be very unlikely, and Akula would have gone to a lot of effort just to trick people, if that were really the case. So, I really doubt it.  A remote field test run would eliminate that possibility, to a degree. Even if only taking his first device out there.
We can speculate on this till the cows come home, but it might be easier to just give it a try ourselves, instead.

Agreed. The video was rather pointless as it could have been easily faked and as presented, served no real purpose in helping others to achieve a self-running device.

The induction heater 'thin wire' power transmission approach could have been used. The lamps in the video looked under powered, so the source power would not need to be very high and easily supplied by batteries.

If he actually had a true self-runner and had genuinely wanted to convince people of this, he would as with the white wire, have disconnected and re-terminated the black wire / cable to show that it was 'clean' and moved / lifted the table to show there were no concealed wires running up the legs.

This is probably the only way to eliminate most of the tricks that could be used to fake a video in a domestic environment, other than manipulation of the video itself. Continuation of videos that claim to show self-running devices shot inside homes and in gardens is just pointless.

Any remote field test claiming a self-running device should be conducted in such a way that any earth wire connections are shown disconnected and reconnected to earth rods in close camera shot. Close-up shots of the ground under and around the device demonstration table are also necessary. The area surrounding the device demo area also needs to be fully panned by the camera to ensure that there are no vehicles in sight that could be supplying power to the device.
