Sounds to me like the device overheats and can't be controlled easily!

I understand.
Yes I have to try another method of measuring the current as how you guyz told me to. many forms I see.
I will manage  soon.

In Akula's Pictures it really looks like the Yoke has been used as some sort of chock in my way of seeing it.
But very interesting how it's been used in circuit.
My Yoke might be russian, or jap. I think it wont matter, tried various types and shapes of CRT yokes and work the same But it all depends on your circuit and windings that makes the difference, maybe size of yoke too, for output current.

I think I have that problem too as what is stated assumption from akula or so .
My circuits can run that device only up too like 30 minutes and till 1 hour and overheats toriod and circuit. But i managed to split the heating of everything by placing more toriods in series and parallel in certain ways. You can see it in vid.
By the way, i do use a fan now and holds it cool till 1 hour or more. but did not test it longer then that.
