1 Measure the start voltage with the system off.
2 Run the system for 1 minute.
3 Switch off.
4 Measure the voltage with the system off.
5 Keep repeating the process.


Simple; that way you get feedback information to help the experiment.

I have uploaded my first video on roundcore/yoke replication.
I was unable to light my 1KW 220v halogen tube which i have purchased for Project Gene shown in JLN Lab.

The only good news is i have not destroyed any 600volts mosfet at this moment.I'm using 4.8Volts for ZENER and 1KOhm instead of 470Ohms.
I 'm merely using electrolytic capacitor 2200uf to smooth out 12volt supply input.

Although i was unable to light anything i was amazed how this yoke can run at different frequency upon shorting output.Do watch the video to get a clear picture.

Need expert advise on how can i improve the output.Thanks in advance.
The yoke winding spec is 27 turns for output and 8-0-8 turns for input.

Is the yoke half insulated for example?

Hi , I have seen your Uploaded vid of your replicated Roundcore.
I really am starting to like your version of Royer circuit sins it has those 600Volt mosfets that are hardcore and can handle presure. I should start looking for them xP.

By the way, I think your Royer Circuit can handle 120Vdc input (= or a bit less voltages around 60Vdc or so.
I have a schematic of it where 500V 44A mosfets are used instead of the IRFP250's or IRFP260's where it can work with 120Vdc! just imagine what the output would be If I managed things with 12 to 24 volts only XD!!! haha masssive output.

Hmmm Might be that your core is not properly set for it to produce energy with acoustics.
The windings seem ok, 27 and 8-0-8.
Both halfs of the yoke is insulated, Both half pieces.

!!Important!!:
one layer of paper or tape inbetween the 2 splits of the ferrite yoke. That is needed for it to function
