was playing with this falstad sim...

and was watching the current from the ground.
And although the current in this simulator is backwards (dots flow from positive to ground) there is a point that the circuit draws backwards from the ground through the mosfets; I heard this was a bad thing to do... to force them to forward conduct by putting a negative voltage on the source....

I added a diode on the common ground... it develops a negative potential, but does stop the backflow ....

I think usually the diode is put the other direction across the mosfet so it can be protected... some don't have the protection diode?
