Those devices demonstrated in Germany were not the big ones, were they? Just small ones, lighting a few LEDs? Let us indeed be consistent with known facts please. A few button cells installed in the case of a gutted electrolytic capacitor or concealed in the potentiometer cases would work to power those devices quite nicely, perhaps even for several days.

And the fact that they were demonstrated in Germany means that those particular devices can be demonstrated in other places than "at home". So, if they are real and Ruslan and Akula want to convince people that they are real, why do they not simply send one to YOU, or someone else credible like our host Stefan, for examination? After all... they are posting circuit diagrams and photos and everything else and the devices only have a few roubles worth of components. So they are at least pretending not to have any secrets. Why not just send along a working unit then? I would.

Let us indeed be consistent with known facts, and also let us use the good sense and reasoning ability that our creator gave to us.  Why are Akula and Ruslan still powering their homes from their utility grids, rather than using their devices?

No, that is not true. I know Akula has demonstrated a self running dual tesla coil device
powering a couple of light bulbs at about 20W in Germany. Not at all likely that people wouldn't
look for possible hidden batteries when inspecting the device. That would be the first thing anyone
would look for.

P.S. Why would Akula send one of his devices to some stranger when he is
working with some Germans to find investors/partners for his devices, and may have already
signed contracts with the Germans or others.  That makes no sense at all.
I don't think Akula was ever interested in releasing all details about his devices to others.
Ruslan on the other hand has already released most
of the details of the devices he has been demonstrating. It is just a matter now
of others working on this device now to try to see if they can replicate.

Sorry, this is incorrect. One could easily be several hundred meters away and be able to extract hundreds of watts of power, with a good ground connection and a properly tuned circuit, which could easily be of the same size as the big units we have seen.  And certainly Ruslan's station is very powerful. So just how close is he? He might even be working in the basement of the transmitter room, for all I know. Or they both could live within a stone's throw of the antenna.  Do you know?

'Very close' of course in no way excludes 'several hundred meters'. It is relative.
How close you would have to be to draw off significant amounts of power (for example 2KW) would depend
on the power being radiated by the antenna, the frequency of operation, type of transmitting antenna, etc.
People can speculate all sorts of things, but it is already a given that any of these devices can
be faked one way or another in a video if a person really wanted to. All things taken into
account, especially now that we know most of the main details about the device Ruslan has been demonstrating,
which is very closely based on Akula's second self runner, it is just not very likely that these devices are
being run by a nearby radio transmitter's antenna. You might as well be suggesting that
they are tapping into the inter-galactic space federation's public service wireless free energy broadcast. 
I think most people in this thread are more interested in discussing the ins and outs of the device itself,
for which most details are known already beyond maybe exact specific tuning methods.

Hi magpwr. I tested this and monitored the waveform on a 100 MHz scope,  and I did not see any
effect produced on the sinewave that appears on the big radiator 'antenna' coil. If this bifilar opposing
wound choke on the ferrite rod is really producing a pulse, it is not something that my scope is
picking up anyway.
