Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

It may not be stripped coaxial cable, but flat copper braided cable, instead, as is used on the outside of the CRT screens on Tv and monitors.
The 3 inch ferrite tuning rod drops the voltage and raises the current, and also changes the frequency. At least that's what it does on my set up.
I suspect that the Akula/Ruslan type of Kacher secondary does not raise the voltage by that much, as it has low turns, and thicker mag wire. But, he is also using another ferrite inductor coil mounted on his Kacher crt. This can raise the voltage further, as well. Using ferrite cores can make the spark hotter, and the RF burns more noticeable.

The mentioning of tuning to Earth's frequency, and/or it harmonics, is important to know, as that is probably what we really need to do, to make these devices work properly. As, THAT IS the source of additional input that is going to the device, from the surrounding ambient.
So we need to tune the yoke/grenade cores to this "Earth Frequency", or its harmonics. As well as having a matched tuned Earth ground connection (37.5 m,) to a iron pipe in a salty wet area, or to a water source, like a well.
We need to know what the Kacher's output voltage and current readings are, at the output of antenna coil, also.

Jeg,

At 09:45 in this video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fp3sed_eli0  you can hear Akula speak about capacitor (condensator)
and pointing to the grenade coil, so there must be some capacitance at play in there.
Perhaps the secret is in the link i provided yesterday explaining the third coil.

I build a similar Kacher driver with a common mode choke at the input, but i have to bypass the ground/minus from this choke else the
kacher won't oscillate, i wonder why that is?

But at 25v, i can pull 1cm of streamer fom both the end of the antenna coil as the end of the kacher lead and/or the ferrite of the inbetween choke.

Frequency is now at 1.5MHz, but i understand that my Kacher is wrongly wound as it is the same direction as the antenna.

Rewinding is ongoing......

Regards tsu

Can you please tell me what are your bias resistors? I use 3055 for now but c5200 are on the way home.

I think at your choke that you have to reverse the connection wires of one of the two sub ckokes.

At katcher's winding method there is not good and bad. Just drive the antenna at the other end than the one you use if you wish to change direction of radiation.

Yes, negative voltage compare to ground. It is high voltage because on the contrary of the main stream I tuned my 28T line with a cap. For me no problem to tune it as the high frequency oscillation isn't affected at all with this cap addition. And of course with LC you really load the grenade and not relying at this annoying inductor method which I omit completely from my system.

Hoppy, yes it is interesting for a later project to use coax for this job! For now we have to find out how ruslan does it with a so weak katcher to pass the energy in the main grenade line.

Does stripped coax still has that "plenty of capacitance"?

Regards Itsu

Yes, between turns as it has a thick insulation with good dialectric property. I'm assuming that the electric field is more important than the magnetic field in respect of the grenade coil interface to the antenna.

Nick,

I'm referring to Kapanadze's 'blue' coil in the Aqua2 device, not his 'earth' lead which is braid. This is stripped coax and as a.king21 reported, it was important for Kapanadze to get hold of coax before he could build the device.

Agreed!
