  In URFA's first video, (of the two), he can't touch the Kacher's output wire with his hands, like Akula can, though he can with the wire from the yoke, (if that is where it's going to).  Also his HV streamers are pretty intense, and clearly light the bulbs up much brighter,  but still, it's only just and inverter crt, not self running.  So far...

Guys, some question here. On the picture below is my basic structure of the device.  I have it a bit different than Ruslan.or my Tesla coil  I used 0.3 wire separated with the sawing threat and varnished. If the principle is based on the Ionization of the air I think the surface matter. My Tesla is long 30 cm ( Ruslan has around10 cm) and it is a half wave of 1.87 MHz- which is my bifilar"grenade" coil. My question is - does it matter in what direction is wound primary of the Tesla??  I believe not, just want to make sure. May be somebody has experience already with that.  My next question is that opposite  wound coil right behind the Tesla coil. If I have my all Tesla already wound in that direction do I have to put that extra wire there and in what direction if my Tesla is wound in opposite to Ruslans?

hi everyone,

I have produced another findings which will erase anyone lingering doubts related to "the point of waveform which nanosecond pulse needs to be injected or pulsed".

After watching the Ruslan video with the nanosecond pulse injection and verifying with my previous attachment as attached once more shown with 2 example red line as example which represent the nanosecond pulse.

I have now 100% confirmed the point in the waveform which the nanosecond would need to appear which is at "the positive peak cycle of the lower harmonics as example 26.83khz "as shown in my attachment.This nanosecond pulse as shown in the red line is also in in sync with "the peak of negative half cycle" of the tesla coil oscillating at around 1.6Mhz as example.
Similar to Ruslan screenshot as pasted.


My justification related to scope time/div as referring to the Ruslan screenshot as pasted with my waveform  is simple.By placing probe near tesla coil oscillating at
example 1.6Mhz the time per division setting on the scope would be at 500ns per division.

To find out the estimated "nanosecond pulse width duration" as shown in Ruslan screenshot as attached.This can be observed easily by comparing the narrow pulse signal which looks
like around 100ns to 150ns compared against 500ns per division setting on scope.

"At this point i have once again proven the need for nanosecond pulse  injection without going into the details like why it is needed"

At least this time i clearly know now where in the device nanosecond injection for the device is to be done.This is the small toroid which one of the wire from 3 turns of yoke or toroid going through.
Toroid material selection is very important eg:3000HM or etc.

Why i used 60th harmonics instead of 50th harmonics as used by Ruslan.Because Akula have already mentioned in video which i have attached recently about the ideal frequency alignment
which i found for old device Akula was using 30th harmonics and later on 60th harmonics for the current device.

MagPwr, how did you find Ruslan is using 50th harmonics?  In his Skype conference he said to lads to use 100yh harmonics ( 20KHz if 2MHz system).

Just use the attached harmonics calculator and insert the figure from tesla coil or yoke frequency .It is divided into 2 section harmonics or sub-harmonics.

This excel was not created by me it was found somewhere the internet.Just use free excel viewer if you don't have Microsoft office.

I have inserted the figure 20000 hz (Under Harmonics section)  and 2000000hz (Sub-harmonics section).

Just Scroll down and see he is using 100th Harmonics.

If you try be it 50th or 100th harmonics the lower frequency eg:20khz and upper frequency 2Mhz  will never be aligned.

If you don't believe me just use your signal generator set it at 20khz sine wave and made this waveform appear bigger in scope by playing with voltage and time setting.

Then save this waveform if your scope allows this.

Then set signal generator at 2Mhz sinewave and make sinewave appear smaller in scope and try to make it aligned.

And see if you can do it at 50th or 100th for Ruslan.

Then try 30th or 60th harmonics Akula version as per calculator and see if you can get both waveform aligned.
