1) It is better to isolate Katcher from power (noise filters on + and +)
2) It is better to use MOSFET IRF460 (need to put stabilitrons on gate of transistor. And betetr with 2 connected opposite)
The MOSFET will work better. Proven by experiments :blink:

Guys,  I have put the ferrite with couple turns of wire between the Tesla and Granade. I do not see any function of it. Does it work for you??

Your point no.2  I do not understand what that means, but you sai there to use Mosfet 460, but on his skype conference he doesn't recommend them . He recommends some 7310 , IRF 260.  "Poleviky"  are  Fety  (Pole - field)

Hi John. That is just an English translation of what Ruslan wrote in the realstrannik forum recently.
Maybe it was a typing mistake by Ruslan and he really meant to type IRF260? That I don't know...

Guys,

Just thinking about the bulb test  ( bulb connected to the first output of the grenade coil and the second  end of the bulb free)

Why if I touch the insulated wire right before the bulb - NO light.
Why if I touch the insulated wire of the free end - MORE light
Why if I ground the free wire side - NO light
Why if I connect free end to three turns on the ferrite yoke - MORE light
Why if I connect free end to three turns and Ground on 12 turns coil on the ferrite yoke - even MORE light (such a small electron trap of Barbosa and Leal? )
Why if I connect free end to 12 turns on the ferrite yoke, no ground - NO light.

Answer? Resistance of load- capacitance - Inductance -  Maybe I will say a nonsense but is it impedance from our grenade we need to match for  best performance?

I not all understand. But seems kacher changing push pul generator frenquency and that gose from LC resonance on inductor or no and change lamp brighnes.
If I not use ground my kacher also wery strong changing push pul frenquency, if I use short ground then influence from kacher to push pull generator is over. Then I use long very ground and winded, then influence from kacher to push pull generator frenquency apears again.
