   Good question.
  Seams that the recommended 18 meter long induction coil at the grenade may not need that many turns. I have 12, 12, on mine.
As I don't think that Ruslan or Akula are really using an 18 meter long inductor, any ways.
More disinformation, I believe.
 
  I tried to increase my inductor by a few meters, and only noticed a drop in output.  So, it's at 12, 12, for now.  Possibly only just using 12 turns (like Akula's first device, might work even better.

Well done plaxius! Very nice job. If you like can you share some things about it? Like, the load is connected to the copper plates? Copper plates seem to touch your primary. Is that true?

Yes ... the bulb is connected to copper plate (and primary) and ground ...!!!  Now try charge a bank of capacitors, ruslan way !!!
