why there is already px "peak"?

In that video the katcher signal is blending with main sinus wave and has incorrect mode of operation. Just even in that mode the bulb still is geting brighter like in any other experiment where transformer under load is brought up near Tesla coil primary...

   Not in my set up, I wish that my bulbs would brighten up,  as I see little improvement from the addition of the Kacher's HV to the grenade coils output at the bulbs. So far. 
And that's what I'm looking for, that extra juice that will make up for all the losses.  My mosfets get real hot at times still, but not at other times.
