Because we do not know for sure who are honest researchers and who are government agents. Do you really think the government stands back when a number of researchers endeavor to end the age of oil? So a bit of selective criticism in the forums could perhaps shed light on that.

Dog I set this up on a bread board, i had to make sure it worked ok on scope. it's a 12 volt job  use it if you want to. I didn't fancy buying more pots + P&P + handling charge ect.
If you want divide by 100 use a 45!8 and a 4013 for 50/50 output ! and all at 12v volt

I'm not going to horse around with phase locking.  Not at this stage.  The goal is to run a fixed frequency setup with a fixed load.

I will use a kacher circuit to find the running frequency of the Tesla secondary, ground wire and antenna and tune it to my grenade coil (34.45 meters), then I'll pull the kacher feedback off and use a direct-drive oscillator.  From the calculations T-1000 has given, I should be running at 1.78MHz ^*1.  I'll have to go back and change the three caps for the induction heater coil and grenade coil as I currently have them set to run at 15kHz, they'll need to now run at 17.8kHz.

Painful, but good to finally know the correlation between the wire lengths of the grenade coil and the wavelength of the Tesla resonator.  This was the piece I've been missing all along.

If one wants to run a PLL, it can be used to multiply the fixed push-pull oscillator by 100 to drive the Tesla pulses.  Or...  You can run a fixed oscillator at the high frequency and use a pair of decade counters to divide that down by 100 to drive the push-pull.  Either way should work.  My personal feeling is that you need current sense transformers to detect the exact crossover point for firing the Tesla impulses.  A simple phase delay with the 74LS221 will do the job for now, but it won't handle dynamic load changes.  At this stage I don't care about adaptive response.  In fact, I'm very curious as to what conditions will knock it out of operation, like a storm front approaching or rain soaking the ground rod.


^*1 -- 34.45 meter grenade coil x 4 = 137.8 meters + 30.5 meters of ground wire.  Total length 168.3 meters, wavelength of 1.78MHz.

I'd personally welcome and support TinselKoala any possible way I could, if he would just get serious about this project and jump in.  His skills and ability to communicate would be most appreciated.  Somewhere he stated he wasn't afraid of the Men-in-Black.  Maybe he would actually enjoy giving them a poke in the eye.
