Notice that some Printed Circuit Boards on Dally's photos and videos are yellow and some are white.  Why is that?
Apparently they are not the same boards.

BTW: It is not a color misregistration of the camera.

I think you are wrong, look at these two boards are of a different color because they are at different angles

Power measurement at the input is DC stuff, not a big problem. At the output I used a non inductive resistor to sample the output current. Measured the sine wave current (except for very short random spikes, which probably cancel out) and also measured the sine wave voltage at the load, with the oscilloscope. P= (Vpeak*Ipeak)/2. That's how I measured it. Nevertheless, I can see that there is real power on the lamp, despite the fact that input power gets lower.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to modify my inverter to work at 4.6KHz. I'll need to rewind the power transformer.

Download these great programs for calculating inductance of toroid ring coils and permeability of core. Coil have 5 languages interface. MP calc only in Russian but is very simple. You need to enter only dimesions of toroid, number of winding turns and measured inductance and he will give you righ value of core µ - Magnetic Permeability.

Do you mean that both the inverter and nano pulser should work at the same frequency? Probably synchronized? I noticed that, when I activate the nanopulser, in the output coil I can see some spikes superimposed to the output sine wave, but they move relative to each other because they are not synchronized.

I see no phase synchronization feedback between the TL494 oscillator and the astable multivibrator (oscillator) made out of the 74xx00.
...but it would not hurt if these two oscillators were very close in requency to each other (or an exact multiple of the frequency). This way any phase offset between them would drift very slowly.
