  Is this video made by Igor, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C80E3-8aOlUIg not similar the the Akula device, or at least running on the same principal?  The trick is getting it to self run, through a feed back circuit.
But, studying the reason that can do what it can, is why I'm pointing it out.

  Even though Igor mentioned that he had bought a "pure sign wave" 12v to110v inverter, his type of induction cooker did not accept it for the self running aspect of it.
So, it looks like only certain particular types of pure sign wave inverters will work.
Akula may have bought one of those more expensive types of pure sign wave inverters.

  The circuitry for induction cookers can be purchased separately as a replacement part at about 1/2 of what a new cooker costs, or for about $35, or so. Or a homemade induction coil set up can be made, at much lower cost. Especially using recycled parts.

  It's really looking like the induction of low voltage but high amps is what is making these TK, SR, or Akula type devices function. Whether that needs to also be accompanied by high voltage, low amps, at the same time is still a question, at least in my mind.
  The fact that Igor is not getting shocked while holding the thin bare wire providing a 2kW load to the bulbs, is something else. That is truly an eye opener.

  My absence from this thread does not mean that I've given up on this project. I'm still on it 100%.

Kapanadze device has been replicated on a small scale !!! 

You'll need to keep the same orientation for the toroids, similar to the 2SGen setup by J. Naudin

  First of all, all Russian speaking people have not vanished from OU.com.
They are here as always. Like T-1000, Wesley, a.king. MenoFfather, Cepren B, and so on...
 
  The first videos you posted were posted several years ago, and are not Kadpandze replications. It takes practically no current to dimly light a red led bulb, nor do I see any similarities with TK's work. 
  There are others who have replicated TK's work in their own way, but not to the same degree of output power, YET.

  Thank you for the link to the Russian forum. Although many of us here don't read Russian, some do, and have been relaying to the rest of us what is being discussed  there.

I think it must work with high amps and it must work with high volts - just the methods are different. I'm working on it from the high amps because it's easier .
There is only one electricity, things are unnaturally complicated by purpose I think.
