Itsu i think you should try modular buiding procedure. Build one block - test it - and put somewhere untill you finish all modules. Then join all building blocks and do some final fine adjusting.

I have found original and tested Katcher schematic on mosfet transistor. It's very simple to build and test. 50 minutes job.

What i have merely done is translate the original pdf in google/document translator from Russian to English.Then create a pdf and manually transfer all the images from pdf in Russian to English version pdf.

I have merely highlighted all the key pointer in the English document in "blue"

Please refer to the attached English document.
Do look for some key stuff like nanosecond pulse width-50ns and etc which can be applied for current device.

If you take look at Akula tesla coil tuning video which a English pdf was created.You will find that information in many areas tallies.

In words 2 different device creator Akula and Ruslan both have the similar concept although the device looks different.

I think syncro-mesh is not good solved on given schematic. I don't know does it was original schematic from Roman Karnouhov or not.

To explain:
Switching power supply lines from other circuit (variant of phase-looped-lock) is wrong porcedure. From given schematic by somebody mikmur katcher get his current and voltage from two 1N5819 diodes (output of PLL) to drive collector and base of transistor KT805A. This is wrong because always exist some time-lag to charge input and output capacitances of transistor and start self-auto-triggering. So we got a circuit with big phase error. Differential phase between self-auto-triggering katcher impulses and top of sinusoide of reactive power circuit is significant. We never be able to "lock on" katcher impulses on peak of sinusoide. There i didn't take in account errors due to  temperature and impedance drifts and harmonics jamming from "grenade" output-coil.

Look how Roman Karnouhov was solved that problem on his schematic. Independent power-supply flow for collector and base circuit. and it is a good solution - not like in mikmur schematic.

I have some idea how we can fix the sync problem.

I was vary carefully analysed schematics and found that Roman katcher is not a usual Brovin katcher. It is exactly Tesla Magnificent Transformer. If you take a look you will see extra coil just like Tesla TT had and smal RF bifilar choke between secondary and extra katcher coil.  Secondary and Extra Coil are out of phase by 180o exactly. I must admit role of RF bifilar choke on that place is just beyond the grasp of my mind. Tesla's conception and work is much familar with my mind.

Here is Sidorovitch Katcher - variant of Brovin's katcher and Tesla Magnificent Transformer.  Take attention of small HV capacitor between gate of mosfet transistor and katcher seconary coil. It's rated 3nf/10KVolts (rms). His role here is important - additional phase shift make (soft start) and protect Gate-Drain juntion to HV breakdown (thanks to Miller's internal capacitance Cgd).

The most simplest and effective PLL i've got from friends on TeslaCoils.ru. PLL on UCC27425 dual 4-A high speed low side MOSFET driver with enable inputs. Two variants with an antenna and current transformer.

Hi Nickz,

Looks like i would to buy expensive large toroid or yoke online.

But I am not sure if you are able to advise me the tv brand and estimated display inch which the yoke was extracted from which i can use it as a rough guide for me.
