   Looks more like your MRG output coil, or like one of my previous versions of your MRG, instead.
   I also thought that there were too many coils, and possible one or more coils can be eliminated, especially for a simpler lower output version.
Like I wish I had...

  My Kacher is using a TIP 3055 transistor (for now), 2k resistor on the base, 470ohm from emitter to base, no pots, no choke, as yet. 12v battery as the input.
   I had tried the swap on the primary coil, already,  but no luck.
I'm just trying to get it oscillating, first. before adding any other parts to it.

The TIP3055 is not suitable for the Kacher as it is rated at only 70V C/E. You need to get hold of the specified transistor or equivalent. Your transistor may have been damaged by the HV when you initially powered up.
