Well... there certainly must be a commonality between the capacitance of the bridge diodes and the grenade inductance and the kacher frequency... otherwise the 6-8uH antenna's induction to 80-260uH would be a hug stepdown and you'd have to be at like 10kV on the kacher...


if the latest schematic is to be beleived... that the grenade goes to a BR only; and a part of the colllected voltage from that is used to stepdown with a square wave generator  (no longer a push pull required?  a single push is enough?) ... with basically no resonant components?


so under that long yellow tape... is it just a short coil of wire? and then some turns of foil to take up the remaining space?  should probably cover the foil edges with dielectric... the faces won't leak too badly, but edges will...

I was just going back to reconfirm the behavior; and again found the same result... so I swapped to just the bifilar normal solenoid coil,  and did the same test, and found multiple resonances... but every one the differential on the ends was always equal and opposing.... without ground attached the grenade has several points like that, but attaching a ground (through a long straight inductor) there are different freqneucny harmonics... and the output at A is not always equal and opposite the other end of the coil... how is that possible ?  and since it is possible, how is it built by the opposing fields?
I should measure each layer inductance ... I did built it in 3 layers with soldered points that can be untaped I guess...


one higher frequency resonant point on the grenade actually had the sharp middle spikes like ruslan demonstrated a bit ago... think it was a higher frequency...
anyone else able to document behavioral differences?  Is it otherwise a normal condition for the ends of a coil at resonance to not be opposing in polarity?

found my scope can't really do math... where ch1 and ch2 cross should be zero but the math says it == ch1...

a bridge rectifier dramatically drops the effecive frequency - to put scope across output... have to be careful, if you are usuing some power, you might end up with amps through your meter... so should use a load

As some of us have suspected for a long time, Ruslan's hand sketches cannot be relied upon to give a proper insight into how he builds his self-running devices. There are important bits missing. The Kacher clearly cannot produce 1000V across the grenade coils rectified output cap. The statement from Ruslan posted by John.K1 above is also telling!! My build development is now on hold until I see something more convincing in the way of a circuit schematic.

well looks like he's scaling to build several in series... maybe he will ebay them :)

If you look at the comments on the Russian forum. there are many there that think Ruslan is playing games with them. He is not helping himself or anyone else by putting out these hand scribbled part schematics.

More, if you look at his last video you will see on his DVM across capacitors, voltage steadily drop from
982V (5:33) at start device to 922V (23:05) just before he stop device, and that look suspicious like a rate
of battery discharge. I don't want to be a jinx, is just a careful watch at details... ::)
Anyway, we don't see after all in this video what's in that 2 large boxes, are we?
