In your schematic you show the primary as an tank circuit- which in normal situation when using SG. But how is it with the Kacher. It is a blocking oscilator and I believe it works a bit different. Or not?

It is the only small detail but in this system is something too many of them all of simplification lead to such confusion has just one after the other introduces something he does not work.

  I couldn't find that value TL494, that you are looking for, either.
  That's the problem with looking for the any of the Russian transistor, and diodes, also.  They are not so easy to find. Including the Russian 3 inch Tv yokes. 

   Dog-One: You can also try that 2sc5200 transistor. you may get a whole different and cleaner wave form.
And using a battery, if you're not already doing so. That transistor has good specs...
  Remember that Ruslan says that a mosfet can mess up the Kacher signal, so not to use it.

   Starcruiser:  How would I go about connecting a signal generator to my Kacher to tune the primary?
I have access to a signal generator, which I can borrow. But, I don't have my scope, to test with yet.

  John.K1: The smaller WIMA capacitor on across the 28 turns yoke coil is a 0.1uf  originally, in the previous schematic, but may have changed on his newest version, to another value. I think that higher voltage caps are better, than lower than 1000v, but more expensive. Because HV from the antenna goes through the entire device. Which is also why this HV needs to be isolated, from seeping back to the Kacher's input. 

  Can someone explain to me, what are the other group of three big red WIMA capacitors, in series, doing what? What value? 0.1uf?  And what is the big black capacitor doing, 12uf?

Ok, decision made. When I am watching all that PCBoards that I would be very hardly able to replicate, I just decided to made everything much easier with the Arduino and the DDS9850 signal generator.  It offers me two output of sine wave and two SQR waves up to 40MHz. Together with the Arduino's logic I do not see any problem. Especially synchronization will be much easier.

BTW- in some of the last Ruslan's movie, he says he is using  TL based oscillator for his Tesla.
