Hi guys,

I m following this posts for sometime and read a lot about all kind of issues.
I noticed that Itsu has tryed doing a lot oc things.
Some more have done even more.
I d like to be helpfull in solving ussues.

But i can' t notice what status the project is.
Is it possible that some of you die hards make a short update in where the system is acting now?
I mean lets make an overview off all essential steps and how its performing.
Working from that point of view would be much effective.

Its hard for me (i m new here) to be of use without starting all over again.

Yellow is my drain
Purple is current inside inductor line without the in series cap.
Blue is Katcher's emission at a distant oscilloscope probe.

Mosfet is IRFP460. Not a good choice but it can also work. 24V are not enough. Needs higher voltage, except if someone make his triggering pulse wider.

Matt indeed your point of view looks pretty attractive for experimentation. This explains many things like why someone can extract energy from secondary without killing any sensitive resonant oscillation across its primary.

Capasitor must be betwen minus and plus, not betwen plus and emiter, like in you schematic in video.

Thanks Menof. I will try it. In my case i used a 10nf cap. With your suggestion i can use higher values like 1000uF i guess. I will see if there is any difference in output voltage levels.

Hi Jeg,

looking good, especially that change of the drain signal after the snubber install.

Not sure about that purple current waveform, looks strange to me, but i understand you have no series resonance (no capacitor in) at the moment.
