This is not an evidence of immunity to the Miller turn-ON.

Post a scopeshot of the voltage between the gate and the source, so we can see that the MOSFET is not being turned-ON by the high dv/dt appearing at its drain from the interrupted current in the inductor, that is charging the C_D-G capacitance.
