Well, you probably are forgetting what it takes almost no power to create millions of volts EM field. And when merging that into output power with different source which create current... This is where it is getting interesting with open systems :)

You can use LMC555 is able to osccilates  up to 2 Mhz maybe more, at 5volts

This can be usefull with LMC555 up to 2 Mhz supply just 5v.
