  Economizing on the input, and maximizing the output may not work in this case. Try it and see.
 
   Hoppy: Please indicate HOW to measure a SELFRUNNER'S input to output measurements. So, that you can guide us all.
Or are you only interested in seeing measurement on devices that don't work.

As you say correct....first tuning to max perormance due i believe that my setup is not yet well enough configured.

Lets get on track

As T-1000 explains the Akula approach...it also gives another look at our grenade....wich we all configure on 8Mhz...(37.5m)

As posted by T-1000....tesla coil gives by measurement the frequenty at the desired kicks to the grenade.
In one of the last sentences is mentioned that the grenade is made based on the outcome of the kacher.
As i read it.....i think that the wire length of the grenade is related to this kacher frequenty.
So the mystery lenght of 37.5m is only valid when the 2Mhz is generated by the kacher system.
This approach would lead more to the standing wave principles apearing in the grenade.

Gives this also answers to AG about the coil discussions?

  We have previously tried to follow Akula's method of finding the resonant frequency of the grenade coil, which did not give 8mhz, at least not on mine. And then trying to match the induction coil to produce the best sync between the two induction circuits. And after that further looking for the Kacher's frequency that will sync with the induction circuits, to give the best output at the bulbs.  However, this did not work for those that tried it, like Itsu.  You can look at his previous videos to see his results.
   The Kacher is matched to the grenade, not the other way around. The 37.5 meter coil, is the only thing that is not altered. 
 
   Ruslan's method is different, and he did not follow what Akula did, nor use the same circuits. Yet, has achieve a much higher output. And has explain and shown every device, up to now.  Akula did not, he hid the circuits inside the boxes. Which is why we started going with the Ruslan way, instead. Plus he has provided schematic, diagrams, and videos, of each self runner. Akula did not.
 
   I've have given my suggestion for you to try, in one of my last posts, of what connections are working best for me, so far.
Geo has also explain about his way of doing it, as well.   
   
   If you think that the Kacher should run at 2Mhz, then shorten your Kacher's secondary and test it for yourself.  While keeping in mind that none of the self runners shown to date, are using a 2mhz frequency to sync with the induction circuits, or grenade.
Each self runner shown is running at different frequencies.  Compare them for yourself, and see. There is no single magic frequency to tune for.
