Hello Nelson, i'd like to know is there any parts in your device that are custom made? And one more question.....is there some kind of transmiter - receiver stage or just playing with time and BEMF?

I must however give the credit to dear Zeitmaschine for bringing this device to our attention a couple of years back.

I tried some " half ass " experiments using mechanical switching with very occasional increases showing on the scope. I used a fixed inductor and some motor start/run non polarised capacitors. Not being particularly great in the electronics field I couldn't get a solid state system to work.

Now...... Perhaps one of our members might like to run a Sim? BTW, note the mistake marked in Red, bottom right hand corner.

Hi I looked at your circuit you published on the thread It's similar to a Russian device for aligning the Volts and amps waveform on a Russian thread, anyway after thinking about it on the top right is what looks like a transformer, I would think that is the active device along with F and C value. You would need to get that ring of 3 worked out in order for it to work, the transformer would be a large lump of iron of some kind MOT perhaps.

BTW: Your signals on the scope are similar to mine, as far as the sine wave with the HV interposed inside of it.

No i do not charge caps with the output , but i discharge caps to have output but that caps first need to be full    is the reason to i say that systems have more that one stage and should not be  understanded like just one process  but a combination off several process.
Yes i use nano pulses but made by own design ;  their action is  create a heavy unipolar pulse that make a very sharp pulse in a coil in a combination of series /parallel resonance . That effect is managed by a parametric oscilator that regulate how stronger is the pulses applyed to a coil and the frequencie used. the pulses will increase in their intensity after some seconds system start working and charges start be collected in other stage of circuit, make pulses going stronger and stronger , oscillation after oscillation.

........ I used a 12KV rated USA made 30awg magnet wire for the GDT braids. The 12KV is a nominal rating and with nano-pulses and adequate ventilation I  suspect that the GDTs are capable of  a greater voltage standoff, but the SiC switch is only rated for 7.2KV so  we have some headroom.


The SiC_driver combo floats a +22; -8 volt gate signal @ the  Cree_SiC_Mosfets. The design uses Dynamic & Static voltage balancing, which avoids some of the issues involved with running HV SiC mosfets in SERIES.

What a professional looking board. Well done. I have some questions if you have some time.

1. why is the need of a so much HV rating for your GTD wiring? Is it for an accidental break down in case of a close proximity with ground? What if wire is of a much lower rating?

2. Your cree mosfet has a 25V max voltage for gate-source, with a 4V threshold. What a 22V input will offer more compared to a 12 or to a 15V gate peak? 

3. What is the type of your gate toroids? I mean material, permeability, and maximum frequency rates as per datasheet.
