also never hesitate to ask for connection advise for "sniffing" [not direct connections] during possible scope sizzling events.

TK and others have good protocols for this [on the cheap], the newer scopes can be less forgiving in the "unintentional abuse" department.

Just out of curiosity,  has Stefan gone away without appointing someone else as a moderator
in the mean time? When people who are quite obviously mentally disturbed/mentally ill or
who otherwise are just here to disrupt discussions are allowed to post a lot of nonsense like this it
it can make it pretty hard to carry on meaningful discussions. 
I have been seeing these kind of disruptive trash and nonsense postings from 'AlienGrey' for quite a while now.

Thanks for the video Wesley. That was interesting. Tesla's magnifying transmitter was very
interesting indeed in that, from what I recall reading, Tesla stated that he believed he could transmit power
all around the Earth without there being any (significant?) losses. I did not see any indication in Tesla's writings
that Tesla ever felt it was OU, but I suppose it is possible that Tesla was hiding that, thinking that
people would not believe him, or that Morgan would not fund him if he thought the invention could one day
potentially undermine power companies from making money.

Tesla was actually commissioned by Morgan to create, build, and test wireless telegraphy technology,
but instead Tesla used the money to build and experiment with his magnifying transmitter, which I suppose possibly
could have also been used in wireless communication technology had Tesla focused on that aspect, but when
Morgan caught on that Tesla was not focusing on the task that Tesla was actually commissioned for, he cut off
funds to Tesla. From letters that have been published between Morgan and Tesla at that time, this really
appears to be the real reason Morgan shut Tesla down and would no longer fund Tesla from that point on.

BTW Wesley, if you (or anyone else who can understand Russian for that matter) have a few minutes at some point,
if you can do a quick translation of what Kapanadze says in his old video from 2004-04-28, from about 3:25 to 4:00 in
the video, it would be much appreciated.

Kapanadze seems to be explaining why he has the extra plug on the inverter box
which he plugs into the mains socket momentarily each time he starts up his device.
My guess is he needs to do that to provide enough power on startup to get the sparkgap arcing,
but I am not sure. Also, I was wondering if Kapanadze says anything interesting about the purpose
of the sparkgap in the circuit, although chances are he does not. 
I don't know if Kapanadze was speaking Russian or Georgian in this video however.
