Hi SF.
1. Pulses are unipolar anyway. Even if secondary oscillates in voltage, current from source flows only in one direction.
2. As you said you can't see it with a hanging probe but you know it.
3. By looking your Image, Impedance transformer is I think a wrong expression. The net effect is that if you wind some turns of opposite direction than your main secondary Tesla coil, like in your photo at the top of the coil, then you have a decrease in voltage potential and an increment  of current. But also serve to block as much as he can the interaction between Tesla coil and radiation antenna.

The part of antenna which radiates over grenade if you notice it has the same winding direction with katcer's primary and opposite to that of the Tesla coil secondary. The same happens on the small ferrite piece. You should know that when Katcher primary conducts, it ''sees'' two secondary coils. One is the Tesla coil itself and the other is the antenna over the grenade. Two secondaries which fight between each other when current stops conducting. Opposition between two coils during transition time means only one thing. The net increment of voltage potential.

   Then why does the scope probe placed next to the Kacher antenna show a sine wave?   
   I do notice that the ferrite rod and its opposite windings do provide for a higher current at the antenna coil. But, it still looks like a sine wave, instead of a DC pulse.
So, just how do you know that it's a unipolar wave form?

   Geo's Kacher obtained the same result as the Stalker video, I believe. Both are using the controllable Kacher circuits, but do they provide for the same effect as what Tesla talked about concerning one way DC pulses. Or not? As that was supposed to be a big deal at the output. Instead of back and forth, it should be more like water running in a hose, one way, to provide a plasma jet like effect. Does the controllable Kacher do this? Does the simple Kacher do this, as well?
   Sorry, but I could not find Stalker's channel where he shows the controllable Kacher circuit. If someone can find his channel link please post a link to it.
