I hate taxes as much as the next guy but, sorry to say, it is legal.  The guy that wrote that book and sold tapes on the same subject is in jail for not paying his taxes.  Enough said?

With all of the Bush bashing that goes on today, if you dislike taxes so much, why does he not get recognition for abolishing the death tax? (Which both Hillary and Obama are going to reinstate)  He also cut our taxes (for everyone the same, not just for the rich as misreported) lowered the max. rate, and a bunch of other tax decreases that should please anyone that hates paying them.  His cuts expire, I believe it is next year and 3 times legislation has been proposed to make the cuts permanent, and 3 times it was voted down by our great senate and house members.  As a side note, John McCain also voted against making the tax cuts permanent and he says he is a conservative.  He is not.  The only thing the government needs money for is for the military, which it does a pretty good job on...everything else should be done by the private sector including healthcare, the mail, retirement, etc.  This is a true conservative view (which I am happy to be) but there are very few left and none running this election.  But yes, I am working on my taxes right now and they suck!  We should be allowed to waste our own money without giving it to Washington to waste for us.

The above is just my opinion and I am not attempting to convert anyone's present political point of view.

A paraphrase from Thomas Jefferson:  When the government gets to big and too powerful and too corrupt, it is time to throw it out and start over. 


I don't care what party they are from, if they are corrupt enough to be able to get elected in today's system, they are no good for any of us.
