Northwoods Document  1962


Operation Northwoods, or Northwoods, was a 1962 plan by the US Department of Defense to cause acts of simulated or real terrorism and violence on US soil or against US interests, blamed on Cuba, in order to generate U.S. public support for military action against the Cuban government of Fidel Castro.


The proposals included:

    * Starting rumors about Cuba by using clandestine radios.
    * Staging mock attacks, sabotages and riots at Guantanamo Bay and blaming it on Cuban forces.
    * Blowing up a U.S. ship in Guant?namo Bay and blaming it on Cuba?reminiscent of the destruction of the USS Maine at Havana in 1898, which helped to precipitate the Spanish-American War. (The document's first suggestion regarding the sinking of a U.S. ship is to blow up a ship at sea and hence would result in U.S. Navy members being killed, with a secondary suggestion of possibly using an unmanned ship and fake funerals instead.)
    * "Harassment of civil air, attacks on surface shipping and destruction of US military drone aircraft by MIG type [sic] planes would be useful as complementary actions."
    * Destroying an unmanned drone masquerading as a commercial aircraft supposedly full of "college students off on a holiday". This proposal was the one supported by the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
    * Staging a "terror campaign", including the "real or simulated" sinking of Cuban refugees:

    We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington. The terror campaign could be pointed at refugees seeking haven in the United States. We could sink a boatload of Cubans enroute [sic] to Florida (real or simulated). We could foster attempts on lives of Cuban refugees in the United States even to the extent of wounding in instances to be widely publicized. Exploding a few plastic bombs in carefully chosen spots, the arrest of Cuban agents and the release of prepared documents substantiating Cuban involvement, also would be helpful in projecting the idea of an irresponsible government.

    * Burning crops by dropping incendiary devices in Haiti, the Dominican Republic or elsewhere.

Journalist James Bamford summarized Operation Northwoods in his April 24, 2001 book Body of Secrets:

    Operation Northwoods, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit; planes would be hijacked. Using phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on Castro, thus giving Lemnitzer and his cabal the excuse, as well as the public and international backing, they needed to launch their war.[16]

It has been reported that John F. Kennedy personally rejected the Northwoods proposal, but no official record of this exists. The proposal was sent for approval to the Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, but was not implemented. President Kennedy removed General Lyman Lemnitzer as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff shortly afterward, although he became Supreme Allied Commander of NATO in January 1963.

Divide and Conquer.

By splitting threads into multiples, its makes it harder for others to argue
because they have to keep up with too many thread changes.

Also possibles:

Rile up people on your side, then pit them against the other side
to see all hell break loose.

It may also be to try to get board ops fed up from too many
posts, and try to disband this 911 stuff into
separate areas, which are of low exposure.

The purpose should be clear. It's not mine as it is Stefans forum and obviously by the threat of read only I cannot say whatever I want. I did create it for the sake of argument however every post on this forum is created for the sake of argument as well. It would do no justice to any discussion if only one side of the story is presented. You call it a truth movement i call it a blatant conspiracy disrespecting of those that lost there life's on 9/11/01.

One is right, and one is wrong. one a treasonous act, one is a most patriotic act. One promotes terrorism, and one promotes freedom free of terrorism. One acknowledges terrorism and it's horrendous capabilities, one denies terrorisms ability to strike the homeland. One opens the door for more attacks by attacking terrorism, one will use those attacks as a smoke screen to promote a revolution. In turn anarchy will ensue, a militant state will be the only alternative for a failing government under attack by foreign terrorists and it's own people. By the time the people realize that the government isn't the ones attacking them. it will be too late and we will have lost on both fronts. as we will have destroyed our govt thinking they were the terrorists. in turn weakening our  command structure and our ability to wage war or protect ourself against the foreign terrorists in a coordinated manner.

In short i want to know If I'm the one that is right? If I'm the patriot? If I'm the one promoting freedom free of terrorism? If I'm the one that acknowledges terrorism has horrendous capabilities? If I'm the one opening the door for more attacks by attacking terrorism?  I just got to know if your the terrorist or am I? truth be known we are both terrorists in our own right.

By the way, if really planes would have flown into the towers,
why did they never show any engine parts in the rubbel
or any wing parts or anything left from the planes ?

As this was never shown publically, it is another
evidence, that they just used black hawks or cruise missiles
to bust the towers and that the planes shown on TV were
just very professional done computer graphics overlays...

Also did you see any parts of the plane flying down to the ground ?

They showed once a wheel from a plane lying on the street in NYC,
but in all movies you can only see, when at all, some kind of kone,
like the head of a missile flying away from the explosion.
A flying wheel probably would have looked different, when flying down.
And in the videos from the flat near the tower you can not see any
plane parts fall down...

I think it is very clear now, that no planes at all
have hit the towers but just black hawks or missiles...

Otherwise, where would have been the titanium engine
parts of the planes in the rubbel ?

As it all exploded to dust via controlled demolition
also these engine parts of the black hawk or cruise missiles
have been detonated to dust...

If really planes would have crashed into the towers
and the towers would have been just collapsed,
you would have found for sure some bigger parts of the plane
engines or other parts of the plane left in the rubbel...
but there was nothing found...
