A little bit of light reading on the subject of induction compasses used long ago. Which reminds me of many other connective topics.

Bliss' original design consisted of two armatures spinning on a single vertical axle. One armature was connected to commutators that were 90 degrees offset from the commutators connected to the other armature. When one set of commutators is aligned with the earth's magnetic field no current is produced, but an offset angle creates a positive or negative current in proportion to the sine of the offset angle. Since the sine of the angle peaks at 90 degrees, a reading could indicate either a certain direction or the exact opposite direction. The solution to this was a second armature with commutators offset by 90 degrees to help distinguish the two opposite directions."
  So we live on the rotor of a motor (earth) and only need a stator that cuts the lines of force we are surounded by. To get enough out of it some motion needs to be imparted to the stator. All the morms apply. Iether increase the field strength or the speed which the lines of force are cut or both. You cant increase the earths field but you can lay a static field inside the stator giving a greater difference of opposition to the earths lines of force from the earth. I guess the question is then how many lines of force exist in the space the stator takes up or one half that since it is directional N,S. to determine how fast the secondary motion of the stator will have to be to get the desired amount of output. It seems to make sense that the stator would have to built inside out like a rotor that has more pole connections then a typical motor with 90 degree offsets.Enough so that the orientation of the device would not mater unless that was desirerable for some reason. Hendershot's use of the capacitor materials on the inner portion of the coil body may have been his way of controlling the additional amount of magnatism required to the stator field. Wax would be self healing if the charge flashed over that sounds like a good idea.

Well, I just had a look at it and I guess it is just a fake to make money to sell these plans...

The schematics is just the old Herdershot schematics with no additional input or scope shots or anything new
and there is probably another guy in the room, who controlls a variac when the main guy pushes the 2 coil
assembly back and forward...
But at minute 2:25:20 they made an error, just look at it, how suddenly for a part of a second the
light comes fully on, although the 2 coils unit is still far away from the backplatemagnet....

So I think this is a most elabourate hoax to suck money out of gullible persons....

This looks fake to me, when he slides the 2coils, the brightness of the lamps are inconsistent not sync to the movement of the 2coils, and at 2:24:14 you can clearly see that theres a mouldex plastic wire holder on the wall near the table, at the end of it a socket?!

The hendeshot scheme is a fake. I bought it and have build it. Guess what??? It does not work.   I payed about 35 Euro for the blueprints.  That same company (Avangate) also sold blueprints for Kapanadze generator but when you have downloaded all info and thoroughly browsed through the only thing you can conclude, is that it is just a bunch of unorganized data with more holes in it than a swiss cheese.   In case of their perpetual motion devices guide they promess you to go off the grid in no time but they don't even specify what power the device produces.  All devices presented are at toy scale or just above.  When escalated to a claim even paypall judges Avangate is right and refuses a refund.  So you're  warned, dont trust the 100% refund claim in case you're dissatisfied with the info provided by Avangate.

Me too, I built one. It didn't work. Some members suggested a few changes in the circuit, but still it didn't work, so I abandoned the project, and might move on to another one.

Here is a video i found on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfe0zGQ2aNg, the member also has other video with regards to hendershot's discovery i would view those also, by the way what type of magnet did u use? Did u use a ceramic, neodymium (Super) magnet?

Most DIY kits, i found online included ceramic round magnet (cheap magnet), in the video they used a flat, neodymium magnet if my guess is correct u are using wrong magnet if u bought one of those DIY kits that included a ceramic magnet. Neodymium magnet's are expensive but in order for this work u need that type of magnet.
