The same spare parts , are intended to play at : http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:Gravity_Motors  ,then search "Patents"/Gravity powered rotational machine and method , especially Fig.12.
The similarity : the aim to obtain self-motion due to a continuous gravity unbalance.
The difference : the trajectories of the "heavy points" face to fulcrum/crankshaft .
The feasibility : ...let's see their practical tests.

Design changes on the fly?

Very bold to start construction of the second machine before the first one is running!

Someone has money to spend. Kind of boring to spend money on a grand house or on a trophy wife. Why not spend it on a OU machine?

It started off looking reasonably simple, but as time has gone by and they have added more components it's now looking quite complicated, it kind of reminds me of this one    not as big but complicated nevertheless
