Hi Folks,
  does anyone know why images are no longer displayed inline in posts? It reduces the amenity of the forum considerably... :(

Ah, using my amazing-tiny-brain, I have realised that it's probably for bandwidth & monetary reasons... Hmmm.

Is there not perhaps a third way? Does the forum software have the ability to make thumbnails for example?

If it's money - the adverts I see are totally unrelated... Maybe sponsorship with someone like this company would be more profitable...:
