Thank you for the reply. But could you please elaborate? How have the claims been proven false? I would like to learn more about this. Are there any relevant threads on this forum about searl? The google search this forum employs is painfully inadequate.

Isn't your reasoning a bit backwards? You are asking how Searl's handler's claims are proven false.
But it is not the responsibility for skeptics to "prove" a claim false when that claim goes against established science. It is the responsibility of the claimant to prove their claims are true, by supplying solid evidence. There is none of that in any of the Searl material.
The Godin and Roschin "work" is especially comical. If any of _their_ claims were true, don't you think that the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian military would be all over it? It has such astounding military implications that, were any of it true at all, you and I would never hear about it because it would be instantly classified and G&R would be off in Novosibirsk somewhere working in a secret laboratory.
Searl's cynical handlers are manipulating a poor old possibly senile man, propping him up and displaying him and his claims, which he repeats as if reading from a script (which he likely is). This particular aspect of the story is really upsetting to me. The "replications" like G&R and the other fancy apparatuses that you see from the handlers on the various YT clips.... Searl himself never made anything like those things, all those years ago!

The presentation by gravity and energy researcher John Searl was an historic moment – the first time he has appeared with all the current research models and parts.  He presented along with John Thomas, Fernando Morris, and Russell Anderson.  Models and demonstrations greatly enhanced the presentation.  Serious research into his technology is currently advancing in several locations.  Searl Effect Technology consists of the Searl Effect Generator which can potentially power houses, and the Inverse Gravity Vehicle (IGV).
Many have asked, "why can't he simply duplicate his earlier work now, on his own?"  Searl explained that in 1946 he was in the right place at the right time, doing the right kind of work.  That work consisted of doing repairs on many kinds of electrical equipment, giving him access to important items.  His total development costs were only 108 pounds back then.  Now it costs 3,500 pounds for one small part.  It takes millions of pounds just to get set up.
Morris and Anderson each gave detailed explanations of the models and demonstration units that had been set up for the conference.  Extensive use of teflon, copper, and neodymium in layers is part of how this is being set up in the various labs involved.

This is from 2010. Even with all that stuff that Searl never had any access to in 1946 -- no antigravity, no excess energy has ever been obtained from any "replications" of Searl's claims.

Yeah I've been reading up on poor Searl and I feel that its more likely that he's just delusional. I don't think he's trying to fool anyone, I think he really does believe this stuff. The main proof for me is that his "organization" of like 4 people have been trying to get his machine to work for what, 8 years now? And they still can't, and that's WITH Searl himself helping them. Just another scam. Next.
